Choreographers’ Collective – For the Dancers By the Dancers

This June, experience the artistry, passion, and athleticism of the current New Mexico Ballet Company dancers! Choreographers’ Collective: For the Dancers, By the Dancers is a unique show in that it directed, produced, choreographed, and performed by the dancers themselves! This summer showcase will feature a diverse range of movement styles including ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, modern, contemporary, and more! Experience the versatility of dance itself! From a fast paced Cha-Cha to a sultry jazz piece, this showcase will surly keep you at the edge of your seat! Spartacus – The New Mexico Philharmonic joins forces with the New Mexico Ballet Company for Spartacus*, Aram Khachaturian’s award-winning ballet, a favorite of the renowned Bolshoi Theatre! Grant Cooper conducts the NMPhil in Khachaturian’s famous score. Follow the exploits of Spartacus, leading the slave revolt against the Romans, in this incredibly passionate, fully staged spectacular from the professionals of your NMPhil and the NMBC! The Nutcracker Ballet

Featuring New York City Ballet dancers Maria Kowroski and Tyler Angle! New Mexico Ballet Company will be joined by David Felberg and the New Mexico Philharmonic to present New Mexico’s largest and most lavish performances of Tchaikovsky’s classic.
